Conservation Management Plan for Queens Park
Last week’s AGM saw the presentation of the new Conservation Management Plan for Queens Park. This is a professionally compiled document outlining the key history and facts behind our park, and setting out a blue print for the future.
FQP chair Johnny Webb and the committee have been working with the council on the project for several months. Johnny said: “We are in a competitive world of diminishing resources, and the Conservation Management Plan isolates what is special about our park, and what needs attention.”
Chris Lowe adds: “The CMP offers helpful guidance of where we need to go.”

The 64 page document includes a number of action points that are listed as high priority, including the play area, the clocktower setting, the quiet garden and the cascade.
